In Response to Your Thoughts, Prayers and Comments

When we first told people we were hoping to adopt, some people were happy for us and some were like, "Wow, five kids!" We realized this choice would cut out a lot of "things" for us...like, new car, after school activities (sports, music lessons, etc.)...no fun extra "things" for the kids. It would also mean staying a few more years in our present small home. However, we decided to go where God was calling us to go, to give up these "things" reaching out for His provisions for our family.
When we think of all the things we have given up here on earth to proceed w/this adoption, these "things" are nothing close to the worth of the treasures that we are receiving from all of you and especially the absolutely priceless treasure received from God in having another beautiful daughter, Natasha. We praise God for all of this and give Him all the glory!

We have not yet looked at the blog site but have heard that many people are responding w/encouragement, support and PRAYERS! This is SO overwhelming and humbling for us that so many have written.
(After this was written, Ted and Amy WERE able to read the comments and are greatly uplifted by your comments...keep them coming)! We think about these messages filled w/words of love and encouragement and are in awe. We are thankful for you all! We could not be doing this w/o God and your support. Nothing this world could ever give compares to the priceless love of our Lord that is shining through you. We are wealthy right now...nothing for us can ever come close to having as much wealth or worth as in the precious love of our God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
