Events from Sunday 12-11

These words are from Michelle, as Amy/Ted are unable to use the internet again...they wanted me to send a post so you can know about what is happening here in Odessa. They hope to be back online again soon and said they have lots of pictures, including some of Cole's class that they took today (Monday.)

Yesterday (Sunday) was a great day. The meeting with Natasha's brother went really well. Praise the Lord! They met him in the morning and went out for lunch. Her brother just wanted to know that Natasha would be taken care of and he wanted her to have a better life in America w/a family. Ted said the brother even offered to pay for his lunch. In the afternoon everyone got to walk around downtown and buy some souvenirs. Natasha was also excited to pick out gifts for her teachers. In the evening we had a nice dinner with the Beckers and had time to talk more.

This morning Ted, Amy and Ariana went to visit Svetiana and her boss. When they first got there, Svetiana took Ariana by the hand and took her into the boss's office thinking that Ariana was Natasha. A few minutes later they came back out and Svetiana was smiling because she realized the mix up. The boss signed the papers quickly and with no problems.

Tomorrow they need to get one more signature and then Galina will take a van back to Kiev to turn in some papers. Please pray that she will be able to make it back to Kiev in time to go to the NAC before they close.

This afternoon Natasha was allowed to be with Ted, Amy and Ariana for awhile. They went out to eat and then to the store. Amy told Natasha that she could pick out some foods that she would like to eat, but Natasha chose some candy and a bag of sugar for her classmates to have w/their tea! She is always thinking of others.

It is so sweet to hear Natasha talk about her mama and papa and to watch the way that she is always hold Ariana's hand. I don't think that Natasha has stopped smiling this whole week :) She is so happy to have a family and she loves them very much. She is also very excited to meet the rest of her family at home!

Love,
Michelle (from Amy/Ted)

This is Mom...
Keep up the swift work! We are all hanging in but we miss you greatly...Ty even drew a picture of Ariana so you KNOW he's been touched by her absence.
We love the pictures...keep them coming and we will do the same to you. Are you able to get our emails?
Go Galina...yes, we will pray she makes it to NAC to deliver the Odessa documents! Our prayer is that God's timing will be accomplished for His glory and the best for all of the family...including, of course, Natasha!
We send our love...
Dad, Mom, Grandpa & Grandma & the whole Gang as well
